Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
Join our P&C
P&C meetings provide a forum for parents, carers and staff to discuss activities at the school, share ideas, raise concerns and have input into the decisions affecting their children.

Activities
With the aid of parent volunteers, the P&C runs the Uniform Store. The P&C is also dedicated to conducting fundraising activities throughout the year. Money from these events supplement the school's capacity to provide additional resources and facilities for the students. Funds raised by the P&C are directed to a number of areas including educational equipment, fun activities and providing for the comfort and wellbeing of the students.
Please note: You do not need to attend all meetings or assist in all activities. You just need to be interested in what's happening at Ermington West Public School and have some time to contribute your ideas, feedback and energy. There are so many different ways our parents and carers can be involved in the life of the school, and every action, large or small, makes a difference for our children.

The P&C meets on the second Tuesday of every month during the term and includes both in-person and online meetings.

Volunteer at our school
