Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
The canteen at Ermington West Public School is run by the Parents and Citizens' association (P&C) and relies on parent volunteers for it to operate. If you are interested in applying for the voluntary roles of Canteen Supervisor or Canteen Assistant, please contact the P&C at ermingtonwestpc@outlook.com
The canteen will be open every Wednesday for Recess and Mama's Kitchen, Seperate note will go home for this. Attached please find a copy of the Canteen Menu.
Frozen Friday will open each Friday from 3pm
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

Uniform shop
The Parents and Citizen's association (P&C) operates the uniform shop on behalf of the students and families at Ermington West Public School. The uniform shop is run by parent volunteers and is open every Thursday morning from 8.30 to 9.00am and every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month and is located in the room next door to our Out of School Hours Centre (OOSH).
We are pleased to advise you can now order school uniforms online!!
There are three ways to order.

2. Uniform Shop
3. Order form from the School Office.
If you place your order online it will be available for collection on the following Thursday afternoon,

Reply to the confirmation email and advise your child's name and class for delivery to their classroom.

We suggest visiting the uniform shop if possible so your child can try clothes on for the correct size. . As part of the current student welfare policy, staff and parents of this school have reaffirmed that, wearing full school uniform is compulsory and your support in this is appreciated.
Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
